What parts do you change most often?
Trent Jones: Chains! feel like I’m putting a new one on every other week.

Who are some of the people who hook you up with parts when you need them?
Trent Jones: Michael @BOX Components has been my main parts supplier since turning elite. Ollie, our NZ team mechanic always has spare goodies stashed away in his workshop when I’m back home in New Zealand too.

Do you care about the looks of your bike?
Trent Jones: Cosmetic look not so much but functionality yes!

Does she have to be clean at all times before you hit the track?
Trent Jones: I’m the guy in our team who is known to pull every single bolt apart and re-grease it and put back together between every track session. So yes she has to be clean and not making a single rattle or creak, haha.

What tire pressure do you run?
Trent Jones: 80psi give or take a little.

When it gets technical, who helps out with your bike?
Trent Jones: I’ll basically do everything myself bar building wheels to which my man Ollie steps in which he adds the extra tie and solder to keep them straighter for longer (as you can see in the images)

Any special reason for the colour combination of your bike?
Trent Jones: Whatever turns up in the package from Box is the colour I run really.

Does weight matter much to you?
Trent Jones: Not really, as most BMX parts are generally light enough. I think companies can tend to go too light sometimes.
