The Governor was also presented with her own custom USA jersey worn by Dominique when she won the USAC Championship which will hosted by the ABA as part of a spectacular weekend of racing March 28-30 at the Super Nationals to be held at Metroplex BMX in Desoto, Texas just outside of Dallas.
Dominique has also been getting lots of local press and news coverage. Here's an article that just came out this past weekend in the East Valley Tribune.
NEW ABA track in Alabama
The ABA is proud to announce our newest track in Alabama - Marble City BMX in Sylacauga, AL. Adam “AJ” Jordon and his crew have built a top-notch BMX facility for folks in the greater Alabama area. This is the first ABA BMX track in Alabama in over 20+ years. We have always excellent rider support from the great state of Alabama and we are proud to add this new facility to an already impressive list of ABA BMX tracks around the country. It's great that the racers of Alabama including top AA PRO and Clayborn rider, Barry Nobles, now have a ABA BMX track to call home.
The Marble City BMX opening day event for the 2008 season will be Saturday, February 16th. AJ and his crew have been working hard to get the track in tip top shape for opening day. Marble City BMX will be hosting their first ever Race For Life event on June 7, 2008. Then the ABA State Championship race on AUGUST 2, 2008 – The STATE CHAMPIONSHIP RACE (DOUBLE POINT RACE) is a MUST RACE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR TO BE STATE CHAMPION.
