top of the sport. My first memory of the Olympics was on a family holiday in 2004 watching 5000m running. I said I wanted to be in it once and I immediately started jogging around the garden as many times as I could. However, going would be good but medalling would be great!
What are some of the sacrifices you have to make to get there?
Quillan Isidore: For me I don’t see anything as a sacrifice as this is what I want to be doing and I enjoy doing everything I can to be the best I can be at my sport.
Do you enjoy traveling to BMX races all over the world?
Quillan Isidore: Yes how good is it - travelling around the world fully funded to compete in bike races. A life I’m very grateful for. Argentina will be my 9th country this year.
Are you satisfied with the World Cup position you're in at the moment?
Quillan Isidore: I’ve never been in the top 16 before so yes. But slightly annoyed about my performance in Belgium as it brought me from 7th place to 16th. My goal was to be top 8 after Paris.
How many places do you think you can move up in this year's UCI World Cup ranking after the last two rounds in Argentina?
Quillan Isidore: No clue - I don’t really know the points system. But I’m sure if I make 2 finals that get me into the top 10 at least.
What's the best part about racing in Santiago del Estero?
Quillan Isidore: This will be my first time racing in Argentina. I’ve heard great things about it so I’m looking forward to it.
What bike are you taking to Argentina?
Quillan Isidore: Pure Bicycles.
