Fast forward to Sunday, I felt terrible. I was physically tired, mentally fatigued, and I could not race one good lap. With the mental help from my coach, Donavon Long, I barely made it into the 17-20 Expert Main Event. With gate 8 in the Main and the National Age Group (NAG) #1 plate on the line, I let autopilot take over. Everything felt like a dream, but I won the main event.
Overall, this weekend was absolutely incredible and I accomplished so many things in just a few days. 2 ROC #1 plates, NAG 5 Challenge win, 17-20 Expert Grands win, and NAG #1. We did it.
I cannot thank everyone enough for the support this year that made 2021 the greatest year of my life. First off, I would like to thank my parents for all the sacrifices they made this year to allow me to chase my dream and accomplish all the goals I set.
