“Woodward is just the best because it allows kids to learn more within their sport as well as life lessons outside of it, all while having fun with their friends,” said Olympian Alise Willoughby. “Down the road, Sam and I hope the Woodward BMX Race program continues to grow, and kids from all over the world make the trip to camp!”
USA BMX Pro Athletes schedule for the 2022 Camp:

Professional BMX coaches and VIPs will teach campers everything from bike and gear set-up to gate starts, sprints, turns, and jumps. BMX Racing campers will also have access to ride on Woodward’s dirt jumps, foam box jumps, and resi-landing jumps. This expanded racing program at Woodward builds upon their rich racing history dating back to the 1980s and 1990s when Woodward featured a BMX track.
"USA BMX could not be more excited to have Woodward facilitate a BMX Racing program for campers who love the sport or for those just getting their start,” said USA BMX President Shane Fernandez. “I can’t think of a better couple or individual riders to teach the campers than Sam and Alise Willoughby. We are proud to offer this expansion of the BMX racing program to our members, giving them the chance to ride and train at a historic BMX venue.”
USA BMX is proud to partner with Woodward on other events this year which include two Freestyle events, a Gold Cup Qualifier and Pennsylvania state race, the STACYC World Series race:
