Regarding the photos: My mother and sister went to this race and when I came across the photo album I was surprised to see how many good ones there were and, how close some of them were to the track. I asked my sister if she remembered who took the photos. She said, "It was mom." "How the hell did she get on the infield of a world championship race? Every other photographer looks like they are shooting for magazine and television". She said Jim Melton (JMC) got her an infield pass. Wow...
