Marketing, Doug Mann. "Besides just being associated with such a prestigious brand and group of athletes, this gives us the platform to showcase our line of POV cameras to cycling enthusiasts and racers all over the world. We are thrilled to add the GT team to our list of supported properties, which include Troy Lee Designs and the U.S. Cup Mountain Bike Series."
The GT Bicycles Pro Team, with riders such as Mick Hannah (mtb) and Mike Day, will utilize the cameras to film web videos for fans to experience the feeling of riding like a pro. GT Pro riders will also provide EPIC with continual product feedback to assist with future product updates and improvements. The GT Demo program (www.gtbicycles.com) will have an inventory of cameras for lucky demo riders to use at over 80 locations nationwide in 2010. The Dirt Coalition and Co-Factory grassroots program members will have access to purchase cameras at a discounted rate.
Sarah Ostermeier, GT's Sports Marketing Manager added, "Everyone at GT, including all of our athletes, are excited to utilize the EPIC Action Video Cam's in 2010. We look forward to capturing some exclusive POV content of our riders in race conditions to share with the world."
