The road to the main finals at the 2022 UCI BMX Racing World Championships was long but most of the favourites made it there, ready to compete for the rainbow jerseys under the blue sky in Nantes in France.
French victory in the Women Junior class
The first UCI BMX Racing World Champion title for the day was claimed by Léa Brindjonc (FRA) as she took home the victory in the Women Junior Category, with the French flags waving her on from the grandstands. Latvia’s Veronika Monika Sturiska was runner-up and Sabina Kosarkova (CZE) finished third.
