You should never run away from your problems, pedalling is much faster! 2018 was at times a difficult one mentally and although I should be well rehearsed in these situations by now, truth be told I struggled. However my rad family and bike helped me escape the dramas. This song was my soundtrack to the year and the lyrics capture where I am at perfectly.
After a long overdue return of one of our favorite segments we’ve done over the years “I Got $5 On It” is back! We start back with Ross Albreski cruising the Cap Hill and downtown area catchI get some clips with the help of the boys and Paul Smith. Our final clip was cut short due to being attacked by some homeless men who decided they needed bombard us with everything they had. So needless to we escaped unscathed with Ross and the rest of the boys making jokes and having a good time as we do.
So me and Jordan were working on a YouTube video and when we got to the skate park for the last day of filming we realised the lighting had changed and two lights were out. We scrapped the whole video and filmed this instead in an hour or so. Here's something short and sweet.

On Sunday 23 September 2018 another edition of Urban Matterz will take place in Helmond, Netherlands. Also this year they're providing ramps and an airbag for BMX riders to use. The 040BMXPARK obstacles will be set up at De Cacao Fabriek during the annual Hip Hop festival. The free festival will provide good vibes and good times. The obstacles present:

The festival on Sunday 23 September starts at 10:00hr and ends at 18:00hr.

THE BMX DEATH RACE - IGHT HYPE. Ight Hype is a clothing / lifestyle brand based in Massachusetts and ran by Jake Seeley. Jake has been in the BMX game for as long as I can remember, and while his progressive BMX riding hasn't slowed down one bit, he's also managed to lend a hand in growing his local scene by throwing jams, starting up Aight Hype, and putting together events like this "DEATH RACE" through the woods of the East Coast.
