The idea of a streetjam that could further connect the Greek bmx scene first created about 7 years ago. With Takenbmx Shop opening in downtown Athens Greece, we wanted a way of spreading the word of the newly found riderowned shop and meeting spot in Athens. First sessions took place around Athens spots, with riders supporting more and more each jam was announced.

Was a matter of time till the event series scoring some sponsorship hookups then it slowly spread around Greek cities. As years passed the streetjam schedule settled to certain cities that the scene was supportive or growing so we ended up with Patras, Larisa, Loannina and of course our main event Athens BMX Day that every year the capital of Greece has become a meetup place of BMXers from all

over Greece and countries around.

This year is a milestone for SundayCruise Bmx series as its expanded even more with the help of Redbull Greece. It's the first Greek based streetjam that breaks the boarders and travels to Sofia (Bulgaria), Skopje (Macedonia) and Belgrade (Serbia)

In addition to Redbull Greece we have the support of AfterSlumber a local streetwear brand, Skilldash BMX that brings back good old riderowned BMX footwear brand and FATBMX that helps with all the communication.
