In BMX dirt, Enarson won the event for his first AST Dew Tour victory of the season and Cameron White earned his first Dew Cup as the season champion. Enarson's best two runs in the three-run finals included a backflip tailwhip, a 360 tuck no-hander, and a 360 double tailwhip. The 17-year-old from La Mesa, Calif. finished with a 93.33 point average.

Australian Corey Bohan was second at 93.17 and fellow countryman White was third at 93.09. "I definitely wanted to get on the podium this year and it makes me a lot more excited to go out with a win," Enarson said. "I just liked the jumps and it was a good day."

Enarson's last AST win in BMX dirt was at the Vans Invitational in Portland in August of 2007. The win earned him third-place overall in season standings.

Ryan Nyquist won the BMX park event and Jamie Bestwick won the BMX vert event Friday in the PlayStation Pro. In BMX park, Nyquist's win ended Daniel Dhers' winning streak at four. "I upset Daniel's streak, but it's competition, you know," Nyquist said "I didn't want to make the judges give it to him, but I kind of feel bad in the end from taking it from him."  The 29-year-old Nyquist from Los Gatos, Calif. did a backflip over the spine, a 720 barspin over the long box jump and a huge 540 double barspin over the 10-ft. quarterpipe to score 95.00. Dhers of Venezuela was second at 93.33 and Austin Coleman of Los Angeles finished third at 92.67. "I didn't know what my score was going to be, but I knew that was pretty much everything I could possibly do," Nyquist said.

Dhers, the final rider in the heat, was unable to overtake Nyquist after a minor stumble during his run. "Daniel is the force to be reckoned with," Nyquist said. "It's a very rare occasion where he can slip up, but I guess the fact that I won makes him human.

Ty Morrow showed up in Richmond, Virginia with Dan Foley to jam with the FBM boys and hop over really high sticks. Ty and Daryl Nau were upping the bar until Daryl broke his cranks at 40" and Ty continued until he went over 46" and he took home $100.00 cash money.

When was the last time a BMX freestyle rider won a car? the most recent case that we know of is that Maxime Charveron picked up a brand new Fiat Panda 4X4 Cross vehicle for winning the overall BMX Pro category at the 2008 Fise-Experience series. And when you're thinking, man, I should have entered that series, you get a second chance. Next car on the line is a FIAT Qubo so make sure you follow the 2009 FISE Experience series. It kicks off with a contest in Paris, France on 28 November 2008.

Last Friday on the 3rd of October the 4th „ Under the Bridge“ Jam took place in Siegen, a not so big town close to Cologne in Germany. The weather pretty much sucked the whole week before the Contest, so we were even more happy when it stayed OK for the day.
The first contest on that day, was a beginner competition for the beginners, especially for them who are from the Siegen area. The first place went to the 10 year old Felix Prangenberg, who did lookdowns, 360s and had overall a good style.

Soon after there was a little Boxjump Contest/Show, so the crowd who pretty much don't know anything about BMX, could get a good view into it. Check out the pics from it. A little bit after, we hold the Team Contest, the idea behind it was to have one rider from the Siegen area and one rider from another town ride together against/with another team, so it was a battle till the last two teams have to ride in the final. A lot of good stufff went down, big boxjump action but also small technical tricks.

A good way to get riders together is by organizing a jam. The locals in Uithoorn did so and brought the Extreme Sports community together for a day of riding and fun. In the meantime money was collected to expand the local spot. It was possible to enter the comp in two classes; below 16 and over 16. Woody Lindoorn, age 14, won the under 16 class with taiwhips, huge airs, 360-s and 540-s. He's only been riding for 12 months so watch out in 2 years when he can enter the 16+ class. Kevin Groenendaal won that class with great wallrides, 540-s, airs over the gap, grinds, whips and endless manuals.
