The annual BMX BOK at Burnside in Deventer, NL is always a good time. In fact, it's the way BMX should be. Riding, chilling, messing about, encouraging others, stepping it up yourself, music, beer, friends, good shop, killer vibe, shit talking, going for tricks you've never pulled, not giving a shit, being yourself, doing what you want to do, and the list goes on. Two classes were on the program; AM and Pro. Valeri and Shanice rode the AM class and scored an 11th and 6th respectively. Yes girls were welcome too and joined the fun. Good to see that. In the end Mika Bunkers won the 12-deep final edging out Arthur van Velde by just one point. Lyon Bos picked up the goodies from the sponsors for third place.

The 2018 Vans BMX Pro Cup witnessed an incredible finish in Guadalajara, Mexico this past weekend as the industry’s leading professional men and women BMX riders battled for their last-chance at the podium before the series’ highly-anticipated World Championships finale. For the third and final Pro Tour event, defending Vans Pro Cup Guadalajara event winner Jason Watts triumphed yet again, surpassing his peers to mark his second consecutive victory in Mexico since 2017.
Merging smooth style with his signature manuals and seamless tricks at the Montenegro Skatepark, Watts remarked, “to win here again in Mexico feels absolutely amazing. I really like riding this park and with a bit of luck on my side, I somehow pulled through.”

FISE XPERIENCE SERIES: Cam Peake wins #6 in Le Havre, Kaine Mitchell wins the 2018 overall
From early morning, the finals were linked on the Freestyle Park for the last stage of the French cup FFC. After the categories Junior, Women dashed and the havraise Alicia Labat had much to do in front of three members of the French Collective; Kenza Chaal, Magalie Pottier and Laury Perez. The latter moreover stood out, before making way in Amateurs where it was Louidgi Opplert who took the win. The wind at the end of day imposed to convert the qualification results as the final results in the Pro class where a demonstration followed instead. The qualification results had Cam Peake winning, Jack Macguire in second and Kenneth Tancre from Belgium in third for this last stage of the 2018 FISE Xperience Series tour. Prelim results from South Korea came in. We were missing Tom van den Bogaard's name and then noticed he did not ride. Tom hurt his foot during warm-up and had to sit-out the comp. Rim (Japan) took the leading position before John Dalton (USA) and Takagi Toshio (Japan). Final results will be posted up after Sunday's final.
