Nobody was allowed to leave before their last trick was pulled resulting in madness at Burnside skatepark. Jari Roggeveen's downwhip over the gap for instance was rad. Hummelo's Niels van Maren had the support from his parents in the crowd and scored most points of all: 282. Frysland's Arjan Ellens wasn't far behind for second and 3rd went the Zeeland's Pim Scheers with 276 points total. Celebrating with a few Grolsch beers followed before BOK 2018 was wrapped up. We'll let you know the date for 2019 as soon as we have it so you can prepare for a good day at Burnside skatepark in 2019.

The annual BMX BOK at Burnside in Deventer, NL is always a good time. In fact, it's the way BMX should be. Riding, chilling, messing about, encouraging others, stepping it up yourself, music, beer, friends, good shop, killer vibe, shit talking, going for tricks you've never pulled, not giving a shit, being yourself, doing what you want to do, and the list goes on. Two classes were on the program; AM and Pro. Valeri and Shanice rode the AM class and scored an 11th and 6th respectively. Yes girls were welcome too and joined the fun. Good to see that. In the end Mika Bunkers won the 12-deep final edging out Arthur van Velde by just one point. Lyon Bos picked up the goodies from the sponsors for third place.
