I must admit, I haven't seen it yet, but this is the cover of the second issue of BMX RACER, a new book from France. With the Olympics giving BMX racing another boost, the interest got big enough for a new magazine to arise. BMX Racer's focus is on racing and the second issue has the following content:

The BMX industry is preparing for the next big show; Interbike in Las Vegas. But only two weeks ago a lot of the new BMX products were shown in Friedrichshafen at the annual bicycle tradeshow. The Eurobike exhibition is much bigger than the one in the USA but it doesn't have a specific BMX zone. The companies are spread over the entire complex, inside and outside, so it takes some running around to catch it all. Today we're going to show you the 2013 BMX race products, followed by the many other new products we found in the coming days.

The new August/September issue of the USA BMX membership publication - PULL magazine, has been printed with six different covers - honoring all of hte U.S. and Canadian Olympians. While the individual states of each Olympian are set to receive their home state hero's cover - the remaining 45 States are mixed together and will randomly get one of the six Olympian covers.

A large number of the world’s top BMX racers will gather in Abbotsford, BC Canada on 14 and 15 September for the first UCI BMX Supercross World Cup event ever held in Canada, the last event of this year’s Supercross World cup series and the first one leading up to Rio 2016, that only starts in 1422 days. The two-day event features the Time Trials and seeding runs on Friday the 14th and on Saturday 15th riders and fans will enjoy the action-packed BMX motos. This is the first UCI BMX Supercross World Cup ever held at the newly improved track at the Abbotsford BMX Club in Abbotsford, British Colombia. With significant improvements made by Elite Trax over the summer on the track, riders will face the challenging Supercross track that includes the Supercross start ramp. It is already destined to become a favorite SX track on the circuit.

45 Men and 17 women have signed up for the two-day event. Most of the entries are from the Northern America’s but also a large number of regular champions from around the globe will make their appearance. Missing are the Columbians and Latvians

Like I promised, I would let you now how I'm doing after surgery… It's been exactly 7 days after my collarbone surgery and I'm feeling okay now. When I woke up after my surgery I couldn't move at all because my shoulder, ribs and sternum were too painful. I had to stay one night, because it was to soon to leave the hospital with all the medication they gave me. The next day I was able to eat some breakfast, which was so nice, because I didn't eat for 24hours. I also had to make some X-rays to see if the metal plate and 7 screws stayed in the right position. The doctor told me everything looked fine and I could go home.

The first few days at home were not easy and I had to take some strong medication against the pain, but it make me feel sleepy! After a 3 days the heavy pain was gone, so I could slowly take less medication… Now one week later my collarbone is feeling a lot better then before my surgery,

Coming off a huge adrenaline roller coaster at Olympics it was the inevitable that I wound up sick, rundown and needed some down time…but the show goes on! I flew into America early this week escaping the Canberra winter, clearing up my cold and feeling better for this weekends ABA BMX National round in Louisville Kentucky. The highlight of the weekend was jumping the biggest BMX pro section I have ever attempted with Felicia Stancil. We put on a great show for the crowd and stepped up the level of girl pro BMX racing.

Last Sunday the MX GP took place in Lierop. With so much going on in BMX over the weekend, we gave you the BMX updates first. For those who like a bit of MX, we have a little report for you from the sand Grand Prix. Not every rider likes to ride in the deep sand as it's tough to keep it going at full speed for 35 minutes plus two laps. Local rider Jeffrey Herlings didn't seem to have a problem with it as he doubled pretty much every other rider in the race in both moto's. Only 1 rider can claim he hadn't been lapped by the current MX2 class
