Round 4 of the 2007 NBL Elite Points series was held this past weekend in Boulder City, Nevada. The Nellis BMX Track is one of, if not the best BMX track in the NBL track list and this event had the making of a history making weekend: an all star International field of the world best Men's and Women's Pros and amateurs, UCI and NBL Pro points, history making National attendance for an NBL West Coast National, and perfect race weather.

The NBL National Elite Series already has six exciting races in the books and two of the most important events are coming up in Boulder City, NV February 24 & 25. NBL's reigning champions find themselves in opposite situations. In Elite Women action, Redline's Kim Hayashi has stretched her winning streak to four and finds herself at the top of the standings while on the Men's side Formula's Donny Robinson is ranked 8th going into Boulder and has only one win to his credit. GT's Joey Bradford and Amanda Geving both find themselves in command of the Junior classes while Redline's Jason Carnes tops the Masters.
Round 4 of the 2007 ABA Pro race events took place this past weekend Oldsmar, Florida. With all the other crazy race fans headed off to Daytona for some car race, the real race was going on for the BMX racers just outside of Tampa. Saturday had some great weather conditions for the racers, but Sunday was a totally different day with rain overnight and wind during the event on Sunday. Here is how the guys finished up:
Randy Stumpfhauser has been training hard for the past few months so he might now have been at his fastest at the last few races, but as you can see from history, Randy has been the most consistent Pro in BMX racing for the last 4 years. Oldsmar went very well for Randy as he would finish up 4th in AA Pro on Saturday and 2nd in AA on Sunday.

With qualifiers in 34 states, which kicked off on January 28th and concludes in mid-August, followed by three regional finals taking place in September, the 2007 REDLINE CUP Series is bound to be another hotly contested No.1 title chase. Madison, WI, 2007 - After ten seasons (this time around) with the Mongoose BMX Race Team, Eric “Big Daddy” Rupe has left the team and headed for GT. Rupe began his relationship with Mongoose back in November of 1981. During the 1982 season, he was teammates with such legendary riders as Bobby Woods, Kevin Jackson, Jeff Kosmala, Kenny Knachman, Roland Veight and Tinker Juarez.
At the end of the 1982 season, he left the team for one year to pursue his pro BMX career goals and returned in January of 1984
