Modifications: Natural Why did you stop riding for Diamondback to go ride for 34R?
Channon: The first moment I saw 34r on the BMX Masters a couple of years ago I was blown away. Such nice parts and good people with a big heart for BMX. Now I got the chance to be part of the 34r family. So I'm stoked!
How does your new bike feel?
Channon: It feels so solid! Didn't have the chance to ride at a skatepark yet, but I'm heading to France for the weekend. I will have a ride at Vibrations Urbaines. See you there!
Are you running many different parts on your bike or does it feel similar to what you rode before?
Channon: A whole new brake system, headset and a topload stem. My bike feels solid.
Have you ever tried to ride brakeless?
Channon: Haha, you want me dead? I did it in the past, but it feels like I'm holding back, so I prefer a brake.
Have you ever considered running a front brake to change things up?
Channon: In the past I rode with a frontbrake and 4 pegs! The reason why? I believed I needed a frontbrake to do frontflips. But it's possible without now.
Does weight matter a lot to you? How much does your new bike weigh?
Channon: It does, but I don't want my bike to be 7kg, it feels like I'm heaving more control when it's 10.84kg
Are there any people you'd like to thank?
Channon: Big thanks to 34r and Dante bikes for the opportunity! 040bmxpark, Allis Possible and Urban Assault for always supporting me. Partialpixel Photography for the amazing photo's and Mike Askari for the amazing edits.
