Vans have had my back since the mid-90’s and I’m honoured to launch this limited edition signature shoe. There are only 100 pairs available, so be quick! This shoe design was inspired by my art of this mouth painting. It was my first real attempt at creating something from a blank canvas. I didn’t really know how to start so I chose a fine tipped paint brush. I bit down on it with my teeth and slowly went to work. This seemed like it took forever, and it did! Learning how to control my breathing and having patience. Little by little at the pace of a snail, it slowly started to come together. After countless hours over a couple of months, I finally finished this beast of a tiger that I was actually proud of.

I worked back and forth with the designers at Vans to come up with the finished design.

To see it come to life was an incredibly proud moment and i’d like to thank Steve Vandoren and all the guys at Vans for making this possible.

The Knu Skool is a reissued model from the '90s, when skate shoes were extra puffy. Made with sturdy suede uppers, this low top silhouette features a big puffy tongue and ankle collar, giving it an exaggerated look that plays off of the original Old Skool.

Keeping the “Off The Wall” aesthetic, the iconic Vans Sidestripe™ has been re-envisioned as a puffy diamond 3D mold, adding to the overall chunky look and feel. The addition of heel pulls offers easy access in and out.
