We can't express it enough to wear a helmet. We understand it's easier to ride without one but that one moment will come where you will thank yourself for strapping one on. That doesn't stop with riding your bike. When you hit the slopes in the wintertime it's just as important. That tree in the off-piste section won't move, that rail isn't soft and there are enough lunatics that think they know what they're doing coming down that mountain at top speed. Greg Illingworth has a friend who lives in Eindhoven. He likes to visit him whenever he can. In a few weeks from now Greg will have the opportunity again as he is coming over for the 040BMXPARK contest. The South African likes to ride and likes to travel, which actually goes hand in hand. It's a nice guesture from the BMX PLUS! crew to give Kyle Bennett his last cover of a BMX magazine. BMX racing legend Kyle tragically died in a car accident not too long ago. May he RIP. I would like to use this space to thank Ben Crockett for putting me back on the comp list. BMX Calendars have been around for ages. In 1983 the European BMX Championships calendar was one of the first ones. We sold many of them to keep the BMX club afloat after a successful 1982 European Championship event that wasn't as successful financially. Andy Patterson was on the cover, I'll never forget. FAT Tony has been putting out a flatland calendar the last few years and while in Russia last week I got my hands on their 2013 PRO BMX MAGAZINE version. It's got awesome shots sponsored by several companies to pay for the printing of it. 
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
