It's usually the locals that take care of it. So if you're a visitor, pay respect and pick up a shovel to repair the damage you did to the jumps, or to help build a new section that the local crew is working on. It's a good work-out too.
19 March is "volunteer day". The Helm trails at the Johannes Vermeerlaan in Helmond-Noord, NL have been chosen by the SWH as the place that they're going to help out at. They've got 10 people lined up to help move some dirt, build new turns, and new jumps. The kids track is going to receive an overhaul and with a bit of luck we're having the help of a little crane too.
The digging day starts "early" at 10am and everyone is welcome to help out. The goal is to have a new kids track by the end of the day and to shape all the lines at the big boys that are located right next to it. On 1 May the Open Dutch BMX Dirt championships will be held at the Helm Trails so come on over to check it out.
