I still don't have a good feeling about our trip to the Mount Baldy fullpipe yesterday. Andy Zeiss and I drove up there in the Ford Fockus with excellent directions from Andy Shohara that came through 30 minutes before we hit the road. Without them we would have been lost. After meeting a mountain fox on the walk up to the pipe we were stuck on the other side of the gap and were not enough of a "McGyver" to find a good solution to get across and back.
That really pissed me off but killing ourselves trying to get there or being stuck in a full pipe for a few days was too much of a risk at that point. Lame excuse, I know. We should have just bunny hopped that gap and back but with a flat tire or a broken chain we would have been stuck there already. And we had stuff to do...haha. Unfinished business for sure. I'll be back.
