I definitely have to get back there to jump it all. It's one of those "unfinished business" trips that will play in my head until it's accomplished. I met up with Marvin in Moers. Marvin is a local, just started riding BMX and had an answer for every question I had. He told me about a different spot near the trails so we pedaled over there together. The manmade lake was empty this time of the year for maintenance and it was possible to jump out of the 40 cm trannie walls which Marvin liked doing. The nearby skatepark was bad, but Marvin had news about some 5 meter high ramps being in the works. Marvin had his math a bit mixed up as he said he would jump 2 meters high out of the transitioned banks too. It was more like 20 centimeters, but he was into BMX and that's what matters. His 18 kilo Mosh didn't help him either. Anyway, we rode for a bit together and then said our goodbyes. Moers, I'll be back.
