As preparations for the 2017 Nitro World Games get underway, a second wave of athletes has been added to the ground breaking action sports competition, airing in primetime on NBC from Salt Lake City’s Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday, June 24. The 2016 second and third place finishers in FMX, BMX Best Tricks, BMX Triple Hit and Skate Best Trick are invited to the Nitro World Games semifinals (taking place on Friday, June 23, also at Rice-Eccles Stadium). Earning a place on the podium last year now gives them the opportunity to skip qualifying and advance directly to the semifinals, just one step away from the epic final round. Only the top eight athletes in each discipline will then advance
Full of energy, defiance, wild and reckless – Julian Molina is a full throttle one-legged BMX rider.
"Wow. Just wow. I don't think I have ever felt so good about life in general after watching a BMX edit. Erik Elstran is infectiously happy in real life and this edit (done by the man himself) does an incredible job of conveying that happy and positive vibe that he emits. Yes, the editing is top-notch, but the riding is also out of the world. There are certainly a pile of "never-been-done" tricks in here as well as some serious bangers." —Mike Hinkens
Here's a rather raw cut of what went down (spare one day courtesy of a thief who snagged some GoPros...) to get this epic line done... Many thanks to Chad, Doeby, Albert, Matt, Ron, and that girl and her dog for all playing a roll in getting this done!

Although there are a few BMX magazines that come out on an irregular basis, the German magazine has just hit #28. Tim Korbmacher was just at the Simple Session in Tallinn so you can expect a full on report of the contest in print when the next issue comes out in a few months from now. But first things first. Here is a short list of stories that went into the winter issue where not a lot of outdoor riding got done around Germany.
