God loves BMX – at least the one that’s in charge of the weather at the Suzuki-BMXMasters. Under Cologne’s burning sun riders were showing incredible tricks, and pushed the temperature of themselves and the crowd. Steet Pro Qualification Dry weather and an amazing sun – perfect conditions for the Pro Street Qualification. More than 70 international competitors were going for Sunday’s finals. Redline Bicycles has always been up for task when it comes to making BMX history. As maker of the first tubular fork and crank, the first chromoly frame and first double-clamp stem, the Redline name was permanently inked in to the BMX history books a long time ago.
The first day of the Suzuki BMXMasters has already broken all records. A mixture of clouds and sun guaranteed perfect conditions for very extreme BMX action. The highest starter numbers in the history of the masters are extreme as well. Some of the more than 500 riders took it easy during the first day and tested this year's extraordinary dirt and street tracks. Some others already showed their best to qualify for their finals. The girl qualification has to take place on Saturday before the finals because over 120 experts
We have not hit up the official parties yet at the BMX Masters. The Holland House is set up underneath the Zoo bridge and it has been a good time every night. People are asking about the Zoo bridge Dutch parties but we're not sure what's going on tonight (yet). Pro mini and Pro dirt first and we'll see what goes on after that.
