The world’s premier action sports competition debuts July 13-16 for its first year at the new U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis. The event will feature an all-encompassing youth culture experience, including more than 200 of the world’s best action sports athletes competing for medals and prize money in BMX, Skateboard and Moto X disciplines. In addition to the sports, the X Games interactive youth cultural festival, X Fest, and world-class musical performances from A Day To Remember on Friday, July 14, Flume on Saturday, July 15 and Minneapolis’ own Atmosphere will also be part of the event. All three musical performances will take place at the Commons stage, located outside U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Real Series returns to the World of X Games content lineup on XGames.com and ABC, beginning with the Real Ski video competition dropping on XGames.com February 15, 2017. A forum for the world’s best riders and filmers to create premium video content, the Real Series brings together the worlds of competitive action sports and core video parts. Originally launching with the Real Street competition in the summer of 2010, the Real Series has now grown to include six video competitions each year – adding Snowboard, Ski, BMX, Moto and Wakeboard disciplines into the lineup – due its popularity within the action sports community.

As part of the Road to X Games content series, X Games will host the world’s top athletes in a Park Qualifier event on June 10, 2017 as they compete to secure their invitation to X Games Minneapolis. Streamed live from Rhodes Skatepark in Boise, Idaho, the Park Qualifier will feature three disciplines – Men’s Skateboard Park, Women’s Skateboard Park and BMX Park.
