Took a 10 day trip to Barcelona, Spain to host the Spain Kendama Open for Sweets Kendamas. Played hecka dama with Max Norcross, gave a kendama to Alexis Ren, rode BMX with Nick Tansley, and partied with everyone else who lives there. We were there for the first day of summer which was the most ridiculous display of public celebration I've ever seen. Shit was lit.
On June 3rd we threw our 4th annual Hosed Jam with the help of Merritt BMX for our Party Bicycle Club Jam Series. Pros such as Justin Care and Brandon Begin made the trek out to the Bethlehem Skate Plaza to make some moves. There was a couple hard falls and some good laughs to make the hot day worth it. Here is some footage from the jam shot by Scott Effting and edited by him.
I'm a bit brain dead at the moment, so I'll save you the nonsense description. All the bosses. X Games. More to come.
Clint's fufanu on the top of his van in his Hot Dogs section deserves a deep rewind and a little insight into the vibe of the day. While we were on our way out, he didn't mention wanting to try this because it had rained the night before and we weren't even sure if we'd get to ride the bowl at all. Clint set up some fire barrels to dry it out and everything else fell into place.
Enjoy over 20 minutes of bonus footage and b-roll from ALYK's 'Fed Up With The Bullshit' DVD. When you work on a project like this you end up with a bunch of extra riding clips and having caught plenty of random encounters on camera. Sometimes it's your usual run in with the police, or it could be a concerned property owner, and then there are those who are either psyched or irate about what you are doing. It's all part of the process though, and for those involved can be some of the longest lasting memories from the days spent out filming.
Raised by supportive parents in a BMX-focused family, Tucson, Arizona local and two-time X Games gold medalist Kevin Peraza has emerged as a multi-faceted contender across BMX disciplines. This is his story.
We head to London, England for the last stop of the FTL Europe Trip. We ride BMX all over the streets of London filming for the web video and came across a lot of amazing street spots. We dodged the cops and rode a BMX race track, rode street quarter pipes, banks, box jumps, hips, rails, curved wallrides and much more.
