There's a new Italian BMX magazine on the block named: SMALL. It's made by Stefan Lantschner and Olaf Pignataro in an effort to grow the Italian BMX market. Andy Zeiss received his issue and had the following to report:
"Here is the cover of the magazine Olaf and Stefan are doing. I just got a copy #0 today and it looks really good. There is a Ruben interview, a rebeljam report from last year, an Alessandro Barbero interview and lots more. The magazine comes out every 4 months with at least 48 pages. Nice quality picures and paper. "
FATBMX wishes both of them good luck with the magazine.

The finial stop of the 2006 NBL Pro Series events, Round 8, was held this past weekend at the South Park track. South Park has always been know to be the fastest and most technical track on the NBL tour and this year it had some modifications before the event. The changes made the track faster and more tech, but unfortunately weren't made for the younger and inexperienced riders. The track really showcased how much skill the Pro riders have and actually elevated the respect factor for the Elite Pro riders. With this the final stop of the NBL Pro tour before the Grands, Randy Stumpfhauser needed to gain a few more points to be in the title hunt, while Kyle Bennett held a slight lead before South Park and wanted to extend it.
The Red Bull Elevation comp just ended. Before getting the full report online with some amazing photos, we thought we'd give you the top 20 results first. We're giving it away like this but you need to come back to see how rad the comp was and who did what. Anyway, last year's winner Ryan Nyquist did a suicide backflip to an accidential half barspin for 3rd. Team mate Luke Parslow flipped the step down jump on his way to second. Putting 10G in his pocket is non other that Australian Corey Bohan who had been ruling the course all weekend long with a big bag of tricks.
We received an e-mail from Joe who said he had a better picture of the latest BMX Plus! magazine that we reveiwed last week. Not knowing what to expect we opened it up. Hmmm that was pin up material straight away. Enjoy your weekend.
It's not even 9:30pm and I'm wasted. I'm in Canada so I guess that's okay. The top 20 top qualifiers got announced tonight over dinner and free pitchers so things were all good. I tape recordered the top 20 but I'm not sure I'll type out the full list as Jamie McIntosh is going to e-mail the exact copy some time tonight and I'm trying to get back into town for some more Elevation partying. I know that Corey Bohan qualified first. Damn, he's been riding awesome and did 360-s both ways, tricked every set and will be a good contender tomorrow in the finals. Chris Doyle qualified in second and he impressed me. You know, the thing with Doyle is that sometimes it looks so smooth that you forget how hard the stuff he does is. At the Elevation trails he raised to the occasion and completely stood out to the other riders. He's got the skills for the transfers and tricks that might bring something tomorrow. Correct me if I'm wrong (the state i'M IN RIGHT NOW _oops cap lock) but I believe Nyquist got third in qualifying.
SE have got some new T-shirts, hats and jerseys out. Five new t-shirts and two new hats are now available. SE will be adding new designs every few months. Also SE retro jerseys (Straight outta da '80-s) are in the works. Out soon.
Keep a lookout on www.SEBIKES.com for ordering info.
