The 11th «Vibrations Urbaines » (Urban Vibrations) festival will take place in Pessac from 24 October till 2 November 2008. The list of events is totally dedicated to urban youth activities: hip-hop and electro dance battles, skateboard and BMX contests, street jams, concerts, exhibitions and graffiti and street art demonstrations. The festival is multi-disciplinary in order to contribute to the recognition of new cultural, sporting and multi-media expressions. The event has confirmed, year after year, its coherence and gains in legitimacy thanks to a simple principal: the creation of an event with a spectacular and international dimension. The Vibrations Urbaines festival has become one of the leading national events based on modern urban youth culture.
