All donations received from the event will benefit the national relief efforts provided by the American Red Cross to assist displaced hurricane victims of the 2008 Hurricane Season. The event is expected to draw more than 5,000 people.

27th of September 2008, it’s going to be the second weekend of Oktoberfest and time for the second T-Mobile Local Support Street Challenge at the Tretlager BMX hall in Emmering near Munich. With approx. 4000 m² the hall is filled with great obstacles such as wooden trails, hips, banks and plenty of transitions for the riders to use their creative skills! This ensures a mind-blowing BMX-show for the last Local Support Challenge this year. There will be two separate scorings for pros and amateurs, in which everybody will compete as a duo. The pros will battle it out for a brand new obstacle in the amount of € 4.000 for their local spot and the amateurs for a portrait in the German magazine “FreedomBMX”.
The second place amateur team will win a complete safety gear setup from Pro-tec and the second placed pro team will receive an invite for 30 friends to a big BBQ at their home spot.

October always seems to be one of the best months of the year for dirt jumping in New Hampshire, it’s cooler out and the dirt stays really good all day. Highland Mountain is kicking off the month with a jam in the dirt jump park. Enjoy live bands from Rock to Punk to Metal throughout the jam, bringing talent from all over New England, complete with Red Bull girls and DJ. Full cafe and finally a beer garden. Format: This Jam is for all rider levels; registered riders can take as many runs through the jumps as they want during the 1:00 - 4:00 PM jam session. At the conclusion of the jam all registered riders will be given a ballet to vote for the days standout performances; best trick, best style/flow, best run, best overall shredder.
