Again the Local Support Challenge is the official chance to qualify for the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds Street Session, which will take place on the 29th and 30th of November in Berlin. Four riders can qualify for this event: the best three pros and one amateur receive the T-Mobile-Wildcard, which is his entry ticket for the contest.
These four lucky guys get the chance to ride against the world-BMX-elite class, with riders such as Alessandro Barbero and Morgan Wade. Also, because there’s no on-site qualification, this is the only way to get the chance to ride for the grand prize money and of course the fame.
And there’s even more for you at this-years Local Support Challenge: Munich’s “Wunderband” the Five!Fast!!Hits!!! will be playing at the Challenge and showing you the finest indie rock from the south. They’ll be supported by the upcoming band “Destination Anywhere”, who are the recent winners of the Local Support Band contest.
The best about thing about the Local Support Challenge is yet to come: Every contestant is provided with an all you-can-eat BBQ for free and the Local Support Service Van is also on-site for all required repairs of the bikes.
And after the contest there will be the official Cheap Yeah party in Munich’s Westend!
