Red Bull Backyard Digger to The Netherlands: Young BMXers create their own permanent Dirt Spots

Groups of young BMXers from Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Leende have joined forces in creating three permanent dirt spots. The BMXers collected signatures of people supporting their project and approached their local governments, which eventually granted the necessary permits. The international Red Bull Backyard Digger team will come to The Netherlands to support the BMXers with machines and know-how in building the spots of their dreams. 
The Shadow Conspiracy is proud to announce the first signature grip for Seth Kimbrough. It's called the "Guttural grip". Seth is extremely picky about his grips and how they need to function for his riding style. Many of you may view grips as just some rubber on your bars, but Seth doesn't. Shadow worked with Seth for many months on developing a pattern and rubber formula that would give the "Guttural grip" the softness that Seth demands but also the firmness for longevity of wear. 
When it comes to BMX Freestyle contests Mongoose riders Steve McCann and Simon Tabron have been killing it. Steve can be seen shredding on Dirt, Park and is the new sensation on Vert after riding with Jamie Bestwick at Camp Woodward for the last couple of years. Simon Tabron most recently won the Mexican X-Games and has been doing well at all the Dew Tour stops, the BMX Masters, the X-Games and the first round of the ASA tour. De BMX BOK is about to take place at the Burnside park in Deventer, The Netherlands. The Bok series is always a good time so support this indoor spot while you can. "5 riders, 5 minutes, 2 go on to the final judged by the crowd." Hmm, that sounds pretty loose! Bring your loud friends (Americans!) and make it to the finals in no time. The date is 22 September. Doors open at 10am. 
From 26-28 October the Baco-a-go-go is taking place again. Mesh skatepark is the hosting venue so if you want to destroy some shit, go there. No seriously, the Baco boys want everyone to have a good time from beginners to Intermediates to Experts to Pros. 
If you're around RampRats on Saturday 22 September next, you should check in at the park to ride the bowl for the last time before they remodel the thing. There are different classes to enter (Grom, Supergrom, Almost Pro, Pro) and the entry fee is 25 bucks for amateur and 50 bucks for pro. Loads of BMX companies are supporting the event so you can expect some cool prizes donated by the BMX industry. The day starts at noon with the Grom comp and at 6:30pm the pros will ride. The Welsh Metalband Bullet For My Valentine is the first confirmed band of three performing at T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds. For 2007 it’s the their only and exclusive gig in Germany live at the Velodrom in Berlin! On October 12th/13th the world-beating Skaters and BMX Pros from all over the world will rock the Street Session at the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds. The Berlin-based BMX Pro Tobias Wicke will also come across. MTV will present this event on Saturday, October 13th 2007 at 8 pm. The world elite of action and sports: The Street Session is the first World Cup Skateboarding Event on German terrain ever since the Monster Mastership 2005 in Münster! The best riders of the skateboard and BMX scene will kickoff in Berlin for the very first time in two categories “Street” and “Vert”. Among of others Simon Tabron (England), Kevin Robinson (USA), Eduardo Torreros (Spain), Benni Kopp and Tim Eichert (both German) and Jean Marie Bärtsch (Switzerland) will demonstrate their talents with an overflowing bag of tricks in BMX Vert.
