This event is the embodiment of everything The Wheel Mill has cultivated over the past 11 years. Friendship, passion, hard work, community, progression, and so much more. The Wheel Mill is more than just a bike park. It's a life line..a place to go for those who had no where else to go..a way for so many to find themselves or stay out of trouble...the list could go on for days.
To know that this place will be closed in just one month's time is devastating and I feel for everyone in the local community.
All I can do is hope that someone or some organization comes along with deep pockets and enough compassion to #savethewheelmill

The INCREDIBLE Winter Welcome Jam 2024 at The Wheel Mill in Pittsburgh PA was the 10th anniversary of the event and hands down the best indoor skatepark BMX event I've been to ever!
From all of the insane things that went down, to the sense of community felt throughout the day, to all of the pros who were in attendance. This jam was seriously incredible and a massive thank you has to go out to Mike and Mark Potoczny as well as The Wheel Mill, Harry Geyer, everyone who had a hand in helping with the event, all of the sponsors, and every single person who was there. This is one for the books and feels so similar to the legendary events of the mid 2000's.
