E-FISE Glasgow - We took 5 of the world's best Pro street riders (along with one local wildcard winner) let them pick their filmer, and gave them one week in DIG's home city of Glasgow, Scotland to film a 90 second video. Battling rain, injuries, blow outs and more, the teams had to make the most of every minute of riding time, but would they all come though?
Having a street jam outdoors in Glasgow was always going to be a gamble, even in the summer! And as forecast the heavy rain came but luckily the local Loading Bay skatepark was ready to play host. This is a great watch. Just before lockdown, the Substance shop crew met up for another instalment of their Substance In The City series at their HQ in Glasgow, and rode from day until night, with a lil' pizza stop in between. Corona, angry security, and alcohol laced energy drink night session included.
Sometimes the best things happen right on our doorstep. The new Odyssey BMX UK distributor, Back Street Distribution, invited over a heavily stacked Odyssey squad to their Glasgow HQ, to ride and film with a selection of riders from the locally based BSD crew. The UCI is delighted to announce that Glasgow and Scotland have been awarded the inaugural UCI Cycling World Championships. The historic and innovative event will take place over two weeks in August 2023. It will bring together 13 UCI World Championships for different cycling disciplines in one unprecedented event that will see thousands of the world’s best cyclists vying to win the prestigious rainbow jersey.
