"3 years ago my friends and I started out filming for something with no real destination. Fast forward 2 years and we had something. Everybody had crushed it and things were falling into place quite nicely. I had no real experience with a project of this size before so there were some setbacks. Without a doubt the biggest issue I ran into was on Christmas Eve of 2016 when I accidentally deleted the whole video off of my computer. Devastated and unmotivated, the project fell to a stand still.
Now that the news is out, we could not be more stoked to add Mark Burnett to the Subrosa Pro Team! Mark’s skills speak for themselves and the type of person he is, is the type of person myself and the team want to hang out with more. Mark knows he’s joining an amazing team, including Kyle Hart, Lahsaan Kobza, Simone Barraco, Joris Coulomb, Matt Ray, Trey Jones, Kevin Kalkoff, and Coco Zurita , so you know he’s ALREADY going hard on his official welcome video. The future looks bright.
Welcome to Mark Burnett's Field Notes. A new record of what it is like to travel with Mark and what happens along the way. Here are some words from Mark himself: "For those of you who don't know, which I assume is most, I used to make iPhone style web videos for my own YouTube channel. Basically they were just a regurgitation of anything I had on my camera roll, dumped over top of a Juicy J or Meek Mill song. With Instagram having video capabilities, it's been a while since I've made a video like this but it's definitely something I still enjoy doing. I wanted to bring it back, and so I did. Here's the first edition of Field Notes, a log of all things Mark. This one is from the 3 weeks I spent in Barcelona during late January through early February staying on Simone's couch. Enjoy!"
Here it is. We are starting off 2018 with something huge. Shadow Rider Mark Burnett has been traveling, working his ass off, and collecting footage for two years to create this edit with filmer Ryan Chadwick.
Shooting with Mark Burnett is a treat. As soon as Mark says he wants to film something, three things are already assumed: it’ll be really really hard, he’ll pull it, and it’ll be perfect.
