After a day of tourism seeing the wildlife followed by a day of practice, the fastest pump track riders in the world battled for the 2024 UCI World Championship title in the pumptrack discipline. In the end the titles went to Ryan Gilchrist and Sabina Košárková. Now it's time to wrap it up over in Durban, South Africa before heading home.

What an incredible day at the Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships Qualifier in the picturesque town of Ainsa, Spain! The sun was shining, and the weather couldn't have been better for the riders and the amazing crowds who came out to support them. This event saw a fantastic mix of talent with competitors from Slovakia, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal, and Sweden, showcasing their skills on the track. The diversity was evident not just in nationality but in age as well, with the youngest rider at 17 and the oldest at a remarkable 73!

This time around the Velosolutions Pump Track in Neuquén, Argentina, will play host to the 2023 UCI Pump Track World Championships on 18 November. With around 16 to 20 qualifiers lined up for the 2023 season, the stage is set for epic battles on a global level with a qualifier win that gets you all expenses paid trip to Neuquén. Lesotho you incredible Mountain Kingdom you! Always good coming home to the first Pump For Peace pump track. Kopano Matobo took the win in Roma with 18.58 secs over Ralikotsi's 18.65 in the Final Run. Two time winner Mosito Mohapi had an unfortunate crash in practise that took him out of the running.
South African BMX Champ Miyanda Maseti made the journey down to the Lesotho Qualifier to secure her ticket to Chile over local favourite Khothalang Leuta in a cracking time of 19.18 seconds.
