The NBL National Elite Series already has six exciting races in the books and two of the most important events are coming up in Boulder City, NV February 24 & 25. NBL's reigning champions find themselves in opposite situations. In Elite Women action, Redline's Kim Hayashi has stretched her winning streak to four and finds herself at the top of the standings while on the Men's side Formula's Donny Robinson is ranked 8th going into Boulder and has only one win to his credit. GT's Joey Bradford and Amanda Geving both find themselves in command of the Junior classes while Redline's Jason Carnes tops the Masters.
Adam Banton is the newest member of the UGP team for 2007. "Chalk up another front brake rider". Adam is going to hold it down for the west coast. His bio and some of his favorite stories will be up on undergroundproducts.com as soon as he gets back from snowboarding.
A personal favorite is the time his body froze up while driving, somehow he pulled over by waving his "baby arms" out the window.
When walking the streets of Tokyo Travis Collier took us o a BMX/skate shop in town where I was given a copy of a Japanese BMX magazine called DegreeBMX. It's always nice to see new magazines even if it's impossible to read Japanese. Volume 2 sets you back 300 JPNYEN (3 Canadian bucks according to Travis). What you get is an A5 size full colour glossy BMX 'zine with a Marbow spotlight, Repo on the King of Ground, Endpoint 81, Rollin' on stage skate vibes, Respect the roots, E-news, Product section and more. Next to the good portion of flatland coverage it also has its fair share of ramp/street riding. The man in charge is Hajime Yamazaki who can be contacted at:

Koelle Alaaf! Carnaval. Hate it, or love it but wethepeople in Cologne organized a comstumized party at their facility that started off at 11:11am after two pallets of Reisdorff had arrived. As soon as the double decker bus from Duesseldorf arrived with 70 people on board, the place was full and it just took off from there.
People had really outdone themselves with costumes that were so funny. Klaus was a sex tourist, Fastinetto showed up on foot doing some Nordic walking, there were some Ninja’s doing some kung-fu fighting, Janosch was Rocky Balboa, I think I saw Aze, Nacho Libre was in da house, Big Ed sure has gained some weight since he moved to Cologne, Kalle was a rock star, Aber Nice and by 2pm the place was rocking.
After a hell of a long trip being sandwiched in between two strangers for 11 hours we have made it to Tokyo, Japan for the Red Bull Circle Of Balance (COB). We scoped the city for a bit last night and got some Indian Curry which actually tasted pretty good. The hotel internet wasn't easy to figure out but we're online now and hope to bring you some (daily) updates of what's going on over here.
Round 4 of the 2007 ABA Pro race events took place this past weekend Oldsmar, Florida. With all the other crazy race fans headed off to Daytona for some car race, the real race was going on for the BMX racers just outside of Tampa. Saturday had some great weather conditions for the racers, but Sunday was a totally different day with rain overnight and wind during the event on Sunday. Here is how the guys finished up:
Randy Stumpfhauser has been training hard for the past few months so he might now have been at his fastest at the last few races, but as you can see from history, Randy has been the most consistent Pro in BMX racing for the last 4 years. Oldsmar went very well for Randy as he would finish up 4th in AA Pro on Saturday and 2nd in AA on Sunday.

2007 the Battle in da Club tour is back! Four cities, four clubs and each time 16 of Germany's and Austria's best riders. In the end one of them will be get the BidC crown.
Once more the scoring system changed. The top 4 riders of each battle get points in the ranking and will directly qualify for the next battle. "Simple, hard but fair" is the new motto and that's why we decided to use the simple 1-on-1 battle mode again this year.
Mixed up with incredible live acts the BidC tour 2007 will definitely rock da house.
