We could easily finish off the year with pin-up shots from the Nora Cup. It was "showtime" for sure. Today we show you 4 shots of the show that went on in Las Vegas. Bikes, Beers and Bitches to the limit.

Riders work hard to qualify for Dew Tour and, as reality would have it, not everyone makes the cut. Either they can’t make enough of the qualifying events or they just can’t get it together during competition. Dew Tour offers wildcards to talented riders for the pro stops – giving a lucky few a second chance to step it up. Orlando is the final stop on Dew Tour and is now known as the blow-out stop. It’s the stop where no one holds back, as everything is on the line and time is literally up. The wildcards have been announced for the PlayStation® Pro and by the looks of the list it is going to be balls to the wall competition, as these riders will come out of the gates on fire. Included in the wildcard list is BMXer Mike Spinner, winner of this year’s Free Flow Tour. Part of the prize for winning Finals in Portland, includes wildcard entry in Orlando’s PlayStation® Pro competition. The amateur rider will now follow in the steps of last year’s Free Flow winner Kevin Kiraly  who is a rider on the Dew Tour this year. 

Okay, you got new trails in your town but you can use some more buddies to ride with....... Axel Reichertz is organizing a clinic at the G-Spot trails in Trier, Germany on Sunday 8 October to get more people interested in riding the local trails. Just show up at 15:00pm and that means you can sleep in. It should be a stress free day of riding at the G-Spot with riders giving advice to those who ask for it. They think its all over....Not even close! The thought of spending up to 10 hours sat in a car was not appealing but the boys reckoned we could make it to Scotland in 8 so we all crammed in the Cruiser and the journey began. To say this was the trip of revelations was an understatement. I learnt more about these boys on this one jaunt than I have learnt in the year or so I have known them! Most of the revelations are unprintable but some of the nuggets of wisdom included: - Never marry a blonde - only brunettes whose parents own pubs - Oh I get it now... so if you're doing 60 miles an hour it means you can do 60 miles in one hour - Of course I slept with her she was well fit.... yeah it was a bit weird being my mates mum but what ya gonna do?

Sea Otter Classic will shuck its hard-earned reputation as a "cycling festival" in 2007. Never fear, instead the Sea Otter Classic will best its reputation as the largest, most celebrated cycling festival in North America by adding key events that reflect Sea Otter's innovative spirit, like BMX. BMX at last gets its chance at the limelight with the eagerly anticipated return of BMX racing to Sea Otter. In preparation for its first-ever appearance as an Olympic sport in 2008, Sea Otter's BMX event will feature an NBL-style BMX track with "tabletops," rollers and one or two rhythm sections. 

On october 22nd we organize the "Festival de la cultura Urbana" (Urban Culture Festival) in the shopping center Bonaire in Aldaya, Valencia. There will be three amatuer contests: BMX skatepark BMX flatland Inline skatepark. Contest starts at 10.00h and ends at 18.00h. There also will be other activities like a Hip-hop dance show, a Hip-hop live concert and a graffiti exposition/show. Entrance is free. No entry fees for the contests. The contest is sponsored by Eastpak! 

Robert de Wilde and Redline signed an agreement that has them work together for the next two years. Robert will still be racing in the USA and will ride a Redline frame in 2007 and 2008 and that includes the Olympics in Beijing. But not only Afro Bob signed with Redline, the complete Dutch National team will race on Redline with the goal of Olympic gold in 2008.

The deal was inked at Interbike in Las Vegas with the presence of Chuck Hooper (SBS), gOrk (Redline), Rene Takens (Accell group), Bob (Batavus marketing), Bas de Bever (Coach National team) and a handful of BMX media.

Crazy Chris from Fringe Gear put together a ghetto jam in Salinas , California (home to author John Steinbeck and the creator of Johnny Bravo ). The jam was held in an industrial area just off the 101 highway on a cul de sac. As I started taking pictures I wondered about the legality of using the area until I walked over the "No Tresspassing - Salinas PD" sign that was freshly sledge hammered out of the ground. Ask me no questions , hear no lies. 

 Oct. 4, 2006 — MADISON, Wis. — Pacific Cycle Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Chris Hornung will leave the company he founded at the end of this year. Hornung’s departure is in accordance with the agreement concluded when Dorel Industries Inc. acquired Pacific Cycle in early 2004. Jeff Frehner, part of the Pacific Cycle management team inherited by Dorel, has been President and COO since April 2005.
