What a blast! At this point the press release could end, there is nothing more to say about this year’s Telekom Local Support Miniramp Challenge in Berlin. For everybody who wasn’t able to be there, here is a summary of the happenings: Despite the dubious meteorological situation 26 teams from Germany, UK, Hungary, the Netherlands, Czech Republic and Austria participated and demonstrated banging tricks in the new miniramp at the Mellowpark. In the Pro class the guys from Berlin missed to use their home field advantage: Team “Village People” consisting of
Ondra Slez and
Michael Beran take the 3.500 € spot support home to the Czech Republic. With tricks like frontflips and backflip barspins over the spine they placed clearly before
Sergej Geier and
Björn “Bommel” Mager.
Tobi Wicke and
Mark König - who replaced injured
Markus Braumann in the finals - ranked 3rd.
