For the 17th straight year, REDLINE BICYCLES has teamed up with the American Bicycle Association to bring BMX racers all across America a Redline Cup event to their local track. The popular series - formerly known as the "Gold Cup" during the 80's and 90's, continues to draw thousands of riders in their quest to win a Redline Cup No.1, No.2 or No.3 plate. The ABA has divided the country in to three Regions - East, Central and West, and designates which BMX tracks will be given the honor of holding a Redline Cup race. In all, there will be 68 RL Cups in 2011. Beginning in September, the three Redline Cup Finals will be held in the Central, East and West.
