This event marks the pinnacle of the 2024 season, bringing together the world's top riders from this year's qualifiers to compete for pump track glory. KwaMashu, renowned for its rich cultural heritage and spirited community, is poised to welcome athletes and fans from around the globe. This dynamic township, a symbol of resilience and unity, promises an unforgettable backdrop for this year’s championships.

The 2024 Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships will also highlight the impactful work of Pump for Peace and the Go Durban Cycle Academy in Durban.

What an incredible day at the Velosolutions UCI Pump Track Worlds Qualifer in Sugar Land, Texas! The competition was fierce, and the energy was off the charts. Here's a huge shoutout to the winners and all the amazing riders who gave it their all on the track! Current UCI Pump Track World Champion, Alec Bob took the win and secured his ticket to the World Final later this year in the Men’s category. Ashley Kincheloe took the top step on the podium in the Women’s Category cementing her trip to the UCI World Champs (location to be announced imminently and its a winner ).

In early 2023, Pump for Peace, a global initiative by Velosolutions, completed the construction of Uganda’s first pump track in conjunction with Kasanje Cycling in the small village of Ziba. This was more than just an addition to the local infrastructure; it was a beacon of positivity and a symbol of hope for the community. What an incredible day at the Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships Qualifier in the picturesque town of Ainsa, Spain! The sun was shining, and the weather couldn't have been better for the riders and the amazing crowds who came out to support them. This event saw a fantastic mix of talent with competitors from Slovakia, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal, and Sweden, showcasing their skills on the track. The diversity was evident not just in nationality but in age as well, with the youngest rider at 17 and the oldest at a remarkable 73!

The Sport Vlaanderen Genk pump track once again played host to the electrifying start of the Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships! Belgium's inaugural pump track, built in 2019, served as the perfect battleground for riders to test their skills on its technical twists and turns. With each corner presenting a new challenge, competitors were pushed to their limits in search of the fastest line!

Local hero and World Champ, Aiko Gommers (BEL) wasted no time in asserting her dominance, setting the pace early on with lightning-fast lap times under 25 seconds! But the excitement didn't stop there, as Aiko navigated through a thrilling semifinal showdown against her sister Robyn Gommers, and then sealing the deal by outpacing fellow Belgian rider Julie Heusequin in a heart-stopping final! Meanwhile, Anne Bos (NED) claimed a well-deserved spot on the podium, rounding up the top three with her impressive performance!

The series of 15 qualifying events for the 2024 Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships is set to kick off in April. The top athletes from the Qualifiers being held on Velosolutions Pump Tracks around the globe will earn the right to compete for the coveted rainbow jersey. After a season-opener in the heart of Genk, Belgium, the series will continue through captivating landscapes worldwide: from Sepheo in Lesotho, to the home of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in Aigle, Switzerland, then on to the historic town of Ainsa, Spain, and the adrenaline-packed venues of Sugarland, USA and Košice, Slovakia.

European charm meets pump track fervour as Otrokovice, Czechia, provides the stage for pump track specialists before the series of qualifiers moves continents: to Asia and an event in Yantai, China. Hvidovre, nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Copenhagen, Denmark, will provide the backdrop for the next exhilarating qualifier, followed by Dungog, Australia and Havelock North in New Zealand, offering a chance for Southern Hemisphere riders to shine. The competition will then traverse the natural beauty of Sicamous in British Columbia, Canada, before continuing its journey to Monthey, Switzerland; Suizhou, China; and Erlangen, Germany.
