Red Bull doesn't only pay trips for their riders, or a salary and their travel. They also want their riders to live their dreams. Projects can be worked on and Bas Keep had a good one in his head. The working crew had to spend some time in Wales getting Bas' dream build up and it wasn't easy by any means. Dealing with the weather was another thing. You don't want to hit a huge quarter at full speed in a rainstorm.

Of course seeing a photo, or even a video (out soon) doesn't do the giant dirt quarter, and even bigger landing, much justice. You had to be there to get the full picture. The plan wasn't for Sebastian to break any record, just riding a set up like this is what was in his head for a long time. Guest pilot Ben Hennon rolled down the hill brakeless and had to deal with speed wobbles heading towards the quarter. He was faster than he'd ever been on his bike and almost needed goggles otherwise he couldn't see properly.

For the third year in a row the Rock 'n Roll BMX Jam is bringing BMX madness to the Bike Motion fair in the Jaarbeurs, Utrecht. Riders from all over Europe are invited to join the jam, to compete and to try and take the 1000 euro prizemoney home! The Rock ’n Roll BMX jam will take place October 11-13 and will offer a daily BMX program on all four days. On Friday & Monday there will be BMX workshops and demo's, on Saturday we will be hosting the Pro contest and on Sunday the Am contest.

Our BMX jam and demo's always add some extra spice to the bike fair, creating a great atmosphere and displaying some mindblowing tricks, this year especially as we are located close to the entrance at Hall 9.

NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2013 Dew Tour will continue this weekend with more than 20 hours of the Dew Tour Toyota City Championships from San Francisco, Calif., on NBC, NBCSN, NBC Sports Live Extra and Dew Tour.com. Live television coverage on NBC begins Saturday at 4 p.m. ET and continues through the weekend. Starting this evening at 7:30 p.m. ET, NBC Sports Live Extra and Dew Tour Live on Dew Tour.com will also live stream all preliminary and final competitions. In addition, NBCSN will air encore coverage of competitions that were streamed live on NBC Sports Live Extra and DewTour.com.

The annual Simple Session BMX and skateboarding contest, one of world's most anticipated action sports events will go down again on 22 - 23 of February 2014 in Tallinn, Estonia. Simple Session 14 will be hosting around 180 top athletes from around the world at Saku Arena, including an impressive line-up of the most established riders in the business as well as new talents in the disciplines of BMX and skateboarding street/park. The event will be also webcast LIVE in high definition. The Simple Session is again presented by our good partner Nestle Lion.

Saturday, November 2, the Atlantic Bike Stunt Alliance will host the Third Annual BMX Fest in uptown Greenville’s Five Points Plaza, located at the corner of Evans Street and Fifth Street. The event will feature the 2013 Trans Jam BMX Contest Series Final Stop, which includes Park, Flatland, and Street competitions, for BMX riders of all ages and skill levels. Pros will compete for a $5,000 purse. In addition, the festival will include a Vintage Bike Display, Car Show presented by S & D Auto 

The Dew Tour Toyota City Championships preparations are under way with a day of practices tomorrow,Wednesday, October 9, as top-level athletes get ready for a weekend full of action-packed competitions. From October 11 – 13, spectators can watch all of the excitement unfold right in front of Civic Center Plaza for three days of free Skate, BMX and FMX competitions spotlighting the world’s top action sports athletes. Featuring Skate and BMX Street and Streetstyle, BMX Dirt and FMX Triple Threat contests, the Toyota City Championships will also include the family-friendly Dew Tour Experience where fans can

The VIBRATIONS URBAINES festival will have its 16th birthday from 18 to 27 octobre 2012 at PESSAC, France. 19 000 persons showed up in 2012, which had free Workshop, gigs, expos, graffiti happening, hip-hop battle, skate+bmx internationals contests and a great party!
