Red Bull doesn't only pay trips for their riders, or a salary and their travel. They also want their riders to live their dreams. Projects can be worked on and Bas Keep had a good one in his head. The working crew had to spend some time in Wales getting Bas' dream build up and it wasn't easy by any means. Dealing with the weather was another thing. You don't want to hit a huge quarter at full speed in a rainstorm.
Of course seeing a photo, or even a video (out soon) doesn't do the giant dirt quarter, and even bigger landing, much justice. You had to be there to get the full picture. The plan wasn't for
Sebastian to break any record, just riding a set up like this is what was in his head for a long time. Guest pilot
Ben Hennon rolled down the hill brakeless and had to deal with speed wobbles heading towards the quarter. He was faster than he'd ever been on his bike and almost needed goggles otherwise he couldn't see properly.
