DEW TOUR TOYOTA CITY CHAMPIONSHIPS PRACTICES BEGIN IN SAN FRANCISCO’S CIVIC CENTER PLAZA

The Dew Tour Toyota City Championships preparations are under way with a day of practices tomorrow,Wednesday, October 9, as top-level athletes get ready for a weekend full of action-packed competitions. From October 11 – 13, spectators can watch all of the excitement unfold right in front of Civic Center Plaza for three days of free Skate, BMX and FMX competitions spotlighting the world’s top action sports athletes. Featuring Skate and BMX Street and Streetstyle, BMX Dirt and FMX Triple Threat contests, the Toyota City Championships will also include the family-friendly Dew Tour Experience where fans can interact with Dew Tour partners, meet athletes, skate and ride the Dew Tour fan courses and more. Adding to the excitement of the weekend, the Dew Tour will host a music performance by hip-hop artist, Common, and the second installment of Dew Tour Recognize, a photo exhibit. The exhibit showcases inspiring skate photography from well known industry photographers and will be on display throughout the weekend. On Sunday, October 13, Dew Tour will host Community Day, giving attendees the opportunity to skate the Dew Tour pro street course.
The 2013 Dew Tour Toyota City Championships will air live on NBC, Saturday and Sunday at 4p.m. ET. The Toyota City Championships will also air on NBC Sports Network at 11p.m. ET on Saturday and 10p.m. ET on Sunday. Dew Tour Live – Dew Tour’s dedicated digital platform – will stream every competition live bringing more Dew Tour action, interviews and behind-the-scenes access than ever before, on DewTour.com. In addition, all telecast hours will be distributed internationally across NBC’s global distribution partners.
