Jamie Bestwick has made history again today by taking a record sixth-straight gold in BMX Vert at X Games Los Angeles 2012. An undeniable force on the vert ramp, he dominated the finals with the two-highest scores of the event to make for a very convincing win. The Monster Energy team has taken two podium spots in BMX Park at X Games Los Angeles 2012 today. Scotty Cranmer was the clear top rider throughout as he took the Gold, and Pat Casey earned the Bronze in his first X Games finals appearance. Cranmer dominated from start to finish. In his heat he threw up two really solid runs to take a 78 and qualify first for the finals. Even though the runs in his heat were packed with tons of tricks, Cranmer had more in store for the finals. He came out of the gates hot and nailed a backflip double tailwhip,

Monster Energy congratulates Dakota Roche on his Bronze medal in BMX Street today at X Games Los Angeles 2012. The rider from Huntington Beach, CA manhandled the course as he earned his second-straight bronze in the event that took place on the event deck at LA Live in Downtown Los Angeles.

A really powerful rider, Roche seemed to find all the unique lines no one else could as he progressed through his heat and eventually to the podium.

It's X-Games weekend and some of the top BMX riders have gathered in Los Angeles to be part of the festivities. Real Street, Park, Vert and Big Air are on the program. Time to bring Dirt back as well for 2013. Today will see the BMX Street comp which starts at 3pm over at the Event Deck at L.A. Live. The 1st & 2nd of September 2012, VANS Kill the Line returns to the famous pine forest in Southern France. This international BMX dirt contest is back for the 4th year, with massive new jumps and a rebuilt line through the legendary Peynier Trail. The prize money this year will be 7000 Euros.

Located close to the city of Aix en Provence where the summer never ends, the worlds best BMX riders will gather to hit the most famous trails in Europe. This year's event will take place over two days with qualifications and Best Trick on Saturday, the finals on Sunday afternoon and of course, the famous party on Saturday night.
