MONSTER ENERGY ATHLETES READY FOR DOMINATION AT X GAMES LOS ANGELES 2012

Monster Energy and its team of world-class athletes will be back to unleash at X Games LA 2012 this weekend, June 28 – July 1 in downtown Los Angeles, California. Among those earning prestigious invites to this year’s event are 33 Monster Energy athletes, a large number and a testament to the fact Monster Energy supports the best athletes around. Look out for the Monster Energy athletes in every discipline: Skate, BMX, Moto, and Rally.

With tons of medals already won by Monster Energy athletes,

look out for the team to chalk up more successes (and podium finishes) throughout the four-day event.

Jamie Bestwick is without a doubt the X Games reigning Gold-medal dominator, and he’ll be back at X defending his amazing fifth-straight gold medal in BMX Vert at last year’s X. The Monster Energy rider has won an unprecedented eight X Games gold medals, and he’ll be looking for more amidst stiff competition at X Games LA 2012.

Ken Block and BMX legend Dave Mirra will be pushing hard in RallyCross, an event that sees racers battling side- by side on the streets. They’ll both be looking for the gold as the finals go down Sunday.

In BMX Street, Dakota Roche will be back on the heels of his Bronze at last year’s X, and in BMX Park Scotty Cranmer will be out to add to his already impressive medal count of 5 medals.
