- October, 2006 - The Dew Action Sports Tour, the pro tour of action sports, today wrapped up its final day of competition for the 2006 season at PlayStation® Pro, the fifth and final stop of the Tour, at the TD Waterhouse Centre. Daniel Dhers captured the BMX Park title. Dhers, 21, of Caracas, VEN, placed first at the PlayStationâ Pro with a score of 96.75 to clinch the Tour title. Marcus Tooker, 20, of Cape Cod finished in second with a 90.75 after a tiebreaker, followed by Alistair Whitton, 25, of Great Britain who also earned a 90.75.

“It feels awesome to win the Dew Cup,” said Dhers. “I trained a lot and practiced to make the Dew Action Sports Tour. This is unbelievable. I’m living a dream.” Dhers finished the season with a total of 389 points. Scotty Cranmer, 19, of Jackson, NJ finished with 330 points, followed by Ryan Nyquist, 27, of Los Gatos, Calif., with 319.

Not too many BMX birthday parties will be going on this week. The only BMX-er who is celebrating his B-day will be Sean Peters. Sean is a flatlander who likes to "Spin it like to hell" as a Czech Republican MC would have described it. Drink one on Sean this week if you will.

We get requests for FATBMX press passes on a regular basis. We're okay with that as long as we can get a decent report and photos back from the person who requested the pass to the event that we cannot attend ourselves. Some passes we've given to girls who did not come across and just wanted to get closer to "the guys". Won't happen again.

Pro Park qualifying went down in Orlando on the 14th and this is how it looks. Finals coming up tomorrow and with all the new talent mixed with veterans like Ryan Nyquist and Dave Mirra, it should be a good one.

How many BMX bikes did you have at the show: Our completes range consists of 9 bikes from flatland to a off the shelf Pro ride(Phoenix); So we tried to show people those bikes that would demonstrate both that and I guess what we’re about as a company.

Amateur BMX Park contest at Scotty Cranmer's park.

Fox’s My Spot Scotty Cranmer will be on Saturday October 21st at Cranmer’s home spot, The Incline Club in Lakewood, New Jersey. As Fox pros and other riders battle it out to see who can claim New Jersey local Scotty Cranmer’s spot, the guys will ride it out to see who gets bragging rights, and over $1000 worth of Fox gear and other prizes.

Brian Foster, Chase Hawk, and Allan Cooke will be there fighting for Scotty's turf too.
