John "Mercury" Morgan grew up in the early 1970's in Rochester, New York. Like most kids of that era, John became fascinated with Evel Knievel. John's goal was to make stunt riding his life. His mother would not allow him to get a motorcycle, so he stuck to bicycles. Morgan practiced everyday popping wheelies and jumping over anything he could. He ended up working in the Ringling Bros circus for three years jumping elephants after coming down from a ski-style ramp. Enjoy these pics of Morgan (not Morgan Wade).

This year we ran several Public Service Announcements in the BMX media. The FATBMX advertisements have shown up in Freedom BMX magazin, RIDE, 2020 BMX magazine in Australia, Zwanzig Zoll mag, DIGBMX, Pusher and the killer Rebelyell magazine. The ads have a message and if you put them all together you should have the right FATBMX spirit. Hopefully 2007 was good to you and let's live towards a stress free 2008. Wednesday 5 of december, we arrived to Koweit city, where we visited the event place: Marina Mall. Marina is a beach close to a park and a big mall, there are lots of people on the street. Dirt jumps are on seaside built specially for FISE KUWAIT, it is near the flatland where Mathias Dandois, Alex Jumelin and Raphael Chiquet can’t wait till the showtime begins in front of the kuwaiti people.

On thursday 6 of December, the contest starts at 4 o’clock pm. We have time to walk the Kuwait city streets. There are lots of buildings, streets are wide and there is several luxurious and sportive cars (4x4, Porsche...). Even the road is a show. We are going to the half pipe for the first pro show with Tim Eichert and Benny Kopp (bmx), Terence Bougdour and Jocke Olson (skateboard) as well as Fabiola Da Silva and Takeshi Yasutoko (inline). Riders are noticeable with special tricks. It was ridiculous! Close of day, we are meeting together in the Koweiti “disco night fever bar club” that is to say an hookah bar. 

Lake Perris BMX will host the 2008 So Cal Nationals February 15-17th located at the Lake Perris Fairgrounds in Perris California. The Lake Perris Fair Grounds is a spectacular venue, which also features Star West motocross track, Perris Auto Speedway and The Compound, the World's largest skate park. The So Cal Nationals have a long and storied tradition as one of ABA's best events. 

We received the "Deal With It!" DVD yesterday and put it in the DVD player. It didn't run. So much for a DVD review I thought but when I put it in the computer it started off straight away. The Source is a BMX shop out of Hastings, UK and "Deal With It" shows riding from their team and friends. For the most part it's pure street but it has some trail riding in it too. You know, FIDS has a section and it's one of our favorite sections. Fids is the man and his bikelaunch to summersault would be a big hit at any event. We haven't watched all
