We're in Prague for the Freestyle Worlds and things are looking well. Loads of people made it and are enjoying the 25 Krone half liter beers. That's 80 Euro cents. The Swedish crowd is already drunk and supporting their homies from the stands in Master miniramp. The sun is out and the venue looks good with a wooden flatland floor, a street course with interesting obstacles, a dirt course with a 6 meter high deck to start off which is not for pussies. The mini ramp is the Braun one wth spine and sub box. The vert riders are riding the 16 meter wide vert ramp and is set up in the middle of a tennis stadium that hosts 7000 people. We've seen the following riders around and we can't wait for the first pro contest later on today [miniramp].

STF has a new interim website, designed with the help of Adi and Kung at 99seconds(.com). This version is up as a temporary replacement for the old site while an all new STF project is worked on. We had some complaints from kids' parents that we had too much pornographic material going on at FATBMX. Making this an 18+ only section saves our ass a little bit. It's actually pretty useless to use the 18+ term with this month's Rooster Bikes girl from Italy. Unless some crazy parent thinks her boots are too sexy for their kids........

The 2005 edition of the Nokia FISE sees a few changes. Next to flatland on the available asphalt piece, the vert ramp will be covered in skatelite. There will also be a dirt contest, best trick contest and the whole street course will be brand new. See the diagram to get an idea of what it will look like. Scheduled to appear from the USA/Canada are: Metro winner Josh Harrington and his Premium Products team mates Joe Riley and Ryan Mills. Also Max Vincent is making a return. Allan Cooke is checking in with his Euro relatives for the second time this year and Rob Darden is on the list too. In the motherland of Redbull, the company that gives people wings faired well at the Austrian King of Dirt. Two of their riders placed on the top spot. Tour Dur Laarbeek 2005 Organising the Famous FAT JAM for over 15 years we never thought it would be possible to have another event in our little town Aarle-Rixtel. We were wrong since Laarbeek bought 4 Miniramps so it was time to organise a "TOUR DUR LAARBEEK" and Mike Smits the Social worker did a great job to organise everything in every town. First stop was Mariahout with a 1.7m high and 6m wide mini, second stop was Lieshout with a 1.50m high wedge mini, third was the spine mini of 1.5m high in Beek en Donk and last but not least on the best ramp of the 4: Aarle-Rixtel with its 6m wide 1.8m and 1.5m high Mini. 11 Riders from all over the Netherlands entered the BMX class: Joeri Faassen, Rens and Pim van den Bos from Veldhoven, Rick from

With competing magazines working on their umpteenth issue, you are getting used to the way their set up is and what you can expect. With Twenty BMX it's still fresh. We received issue # three in the FATBMX mailbox and it has a racer on the cover. Don't be fooled though because this AA Pro racer knows how to do X-up flips, tailwhips and he cranks turndowns and lookbacks at the local Vegas concrete parks. It's Schwinn's Nate Berkheimer who also has the pro interview inside. For the old dogs, Twenty brings a story on the Joe Kid premiere in Hollywood (home of the editor). There's a big feature on the PIG contest that only seemed to take place a few weeks ago. Flatlander Justin Miller is a force to be reckoned with. Page 40/41 shows you what he's all about. The magazine seems to cover what other mags don't so it's no surprise to find an interview with Holland's one and only AA pro Robert de Wilde on p. 44.
