Gathered today for a press conference at the Hôtel de Région Occitanie Pyrénées Méditerranée in Montpellier, the FISE team and representatives of its partners presented the format of the festival for 2021. And it's a new urban sports concept, which articulates physical and digital phases, that will continue to bring together the world's top-level and bring out their young talents.

USA BMX - the largest BMX racing organization in North America - announced today the 2021 USA BMX Freestyle Amateur Series has partnered with Hyper Bicycles. The USA BMX Freestyle 2021 schedule will consist of 10 digital competitions where membership and entry fees are required, five National events, and one Grand Final competition where membership and pre-registration are required for both. “Hyper Bicycles has been supporting the BMX industry for more than 30 years, and for that support to now include the first-ever U.S. BMX amateur series, we are beyond grateful,” said USA BMX Freestyle President, Shane Fernandez. “Hyper Bicycles as a presenting sponsor is tremendous, but having a partner who believes in the same vision of creating a pathway for amateur riders and giving them the opportunity to progress is invaluable.”

Hailing from the epicenter of the UK BMX community, Vans and Hastings-based Federal Bikes have partnered on a limited head-to-toe collection, including a fresh take on the Old Skool BMX. Highlighting both brand’s iconic logos, the three-piece collaboration is now available. Woodward, the ultimate summer camp experience for the next generation of passionate athletes, is excited to announce the addition of two BMX Program Advisors – 13 time X-Games Gold Medalist and British National Coach, Jamie Bestwick, and 17 time X-Games Medalist and USA National Coach, Ryan Nyquist.  As BMX Program Advisors, Bestwick and Nyquist will consult on all-things related to BMX Freestyle programming to elevate the camp experience. Woodward will rely on the duo's extraordinary BMX expertise to provide professional advice on coaching, curriculum, and course design.

Simple Session 21 will be back in Tallinn, Estonia, on August 20–21 for a summer-time festival and an all-around good time! The Simple Session series will host an exciting street-focused contest in the hip new Põhjala district – an old rubber factory turned into a cultural hub will serve as a thrilling new location for the event. A tight selection of the finest BMX street riders and skateboarders from around the world will be invited to go head to head on a fresh Wessel-designed 650 m2 course.

Taking place in Montpellier, France this innovative project is a new step for the FISE Academy, which has a long offered training for athletes hoping to advance their action sports skills. This new project extends the academy’s offering and opens the doors for young people who want to progress in the profession of Action Sports.

Woodward Camp, the ultimate experiential action sports company for the next-generation of passionate athletes, is excited to share that the winningest couple in BMX Race history, Alise and Sam Willoughby, are coming to Woodward! Alise and Sam have signed on as Week12 VIPs and will advise on all-things related to BMX Race Program including curriculum, health and wellness, and specialized equipment. The dynamic duo is excited to bring their holistic view of the sport to the daily coaching and clinics they have planned each day. The curriculum will focus on more than just riding the track and integrate all aspects of preparation including skills, strength training and sprints. A week with Alise and Sam at Woodward will not only be a week filled with race progression, but one filled with new friends and new memories – the summer we have all been waiting for.

After Alise finishes her third tour in the Olympics, the two will join Woodward to coach during Week 12 (August 22-28).
