A few weeks ago we had a Dave Mirra PSP game contest which was won by Timo van Lierop. He won a Dave Mirra game as well as a PSP player. Other prize winners included Mark von Varel, Barry Kohne and Bjorn Heyer.

From 4 th till 5th August the top of BMX Flatland will again be competing at the 7th edition of Flatground. Flatground is this years final of the BMX Flatland World Circuit with previous rounds in Tokyo and New Orleans. The current leader of the circuit is Japanese rider: Shintaro Misawa with 1682 points, on the fourth position it's Germany's Michael Steingraber with only 242 points less. Since the entire top three momentarily consists of Japanese riders, the finals will be a heavy combat between Europe and Japan. With as many as thirteen riders from Japan, the Japanese seem to be determined to take home the title of the BMX Flatland World Circuit 2007.

BMX Flatland
Flatland BMX is considered the hardest and most technical form of stunt bike riding (source: ESPN). The riders use their entire bike to execute tricks on a flat floor on both front and back wheel. Personal creativity, style and control are highly credited. 

We received a long list of riders who are going to be present at this year's Rebel Jam in Berlin. The list is 5 times the size of the X-Games competitors. It is going to be awesome. With all the rain we've already had we're sure that we'll be lucky from 10-12 August 2007. And even if it does rain a little, this is a great opportunity to party with the boys.

Kent, WA: The Redline's are coming! The Redline's are coming. For the first time in their 33 year history, REDLINE Bicycles are available in Russia. Seattle Bike Supply, an Accell group Company and owners of the Redline Bicycle brand, have announced that Moscow bicycle distributor TRASSA, have just received their first batch of Redline bicycles. 

Today I got back from France. I went to the final stage of the Tour de France, or better, Wendy took me there. She was one of the winners in a Rabobank contest and won an all expenses paid trip to Paris for two persons to witness the Tour de France up close.

We checked into the Concorde hotel on the Montpernasse around the corner of the Eiffel tower. No complaints there, 4 stars, good stuff. 

Dear friends, brothers, fiends and haters! I'm very happy to announce my “soon to be released” signature frame with Felt Bikes. The “Dreamcatcher” is the first step in a small series of Felt signature parts and is all about giving (first of all myself and of course also you) a lot of space. The frame will be quite light but won´t be a weight freaks´ favourite since I wanted it to be strong and hold a lot of stress so I don´t break a frame every season. 

The Subrosa brand has seen some quick developments in the short history of the company. After creating an image with T-shirts, a website, some creative marketing and a couple of short videos, the frames came out. Now the Subrosa crew take it one step further; complete bikes!

Where did you grow up?
James: I grew up in Redlands, CA. It's a little town about an hour east of L.A.

Who was there to ride with?
James: I started off racing when I was about 10 years old, and as I got older I just started building dirt jumps with my friends around town. There were incredible jumps in Redlands, the local riders at the time were all really good dirt jumpers and they were all a lot older than me, and I just hung around them all the time and rode their amazing jumps.

Who were your influences? 

Tuesday morning arrived and saw Stephen on the FES bikes. These are the bikes where electrodes are attached to the muscles on his legs which stimulate the muscles to power the legs to pedal the bike.His physio said that that in the 17 years she had been at Craig he was the first patient to use the FES bikes and be on a ventillator. Not only that he pedalled 5 miles in 30mins which was more than some patients could do after 2 weeks!This was certainly a confidence boost and cheered us all up. He was then booked in for more sessions on Wednesday and Friday.

Wednesday came but the effort of Tuesday had tired Stephen out
