From 4 th till 5th August the top of BMX Flatland will again be competing at the 7th edition of Flatground. Flatground is this years final of the BMX Flatland World Circuit with previous rounds in Tokyo and New Orleans. The current leader of the circuit is Japanese rider:
Shintaro Misawa with 1682 points, on the fourth position it's Germany's
Michael Steingraber with only 242 points less. Since the entire top three momentarily consists of Japanese riders, the finals will be a heavy combat between Europe and Japan. With as many as thirteen riders from Japan, the Japanese seem to be determined to take home the title of the BMX Flatland World Circuit 2007.
BMX Flatland Flatland BMX is considered the hardest and most technical form of stunt bike riding (source: ESPN). The riders use their entire bike to execute tricks on a flat floor on both front and back wheel. Personal creativity, style and control are highly credited.
