The Red Bull Illume photo contest has grown into a big thing for photographers. This year BMX photographer Vincent Perraud won the Culture category with a photo from the Simpel Session. Congrats Vincent! Here's the description. "This photo was taken in Tallinn at the Simpel Session, one of the biggest international BMX events, in January 2008 after a long day of qualifiers. Everyone was tired and was looking forward to getting back to the hotel because of the climate; it was -10°C.
The riders started cramming into the bus that wasn’t leaving. The bikes took up a lot of space! The scene was taking place very quickly and so I decided to take a few snaps without setting my camera or lens, just for fun and memory’s sake.
