When I started riding in 1997 there were no Skateparks in NYC besides Mullaly in the South Bronx, Mullaly is in one of New York Cities toughest areas. If you can make it there you can make it anywhere. Thru the years there have been some ups and lately downs. Weather it's a corrupt city official or just lack of funding the skatepark has not gotten the well deserved attention it needs.
Brendan Vail a Nyack transplant has been the Leading Advocate to save Mullay from extinction. He has started a non-profit to
raise money for lumber and other building materials. And on August 16th he held a art Fundraiser at Harvest Bike Shop called Extra Screws which raised over $300.00.
Thanks to Brendan for giving back!
